The Monday Memo - February 23, 2009

Hey Ladies!

I've decided to have "The Monday Memo" every week. This way we can have a consistent post that simply states what's happenin' for the week. Here are this week's activities:

Tuesday, February 24th -

Lemonade Ladies: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. @ Amber Elmer's house. I'm not going to post anyone's home addresses on the blog, so if you don't know where Amber lives refer to your ward directory or call me. Or, leave a comment and I'll call you.

Book Club: 7:00 p.m. @ Brittany Staley's house. The book this month was "The Bishop's Bride" and the author (Jaime Watkins' Mother- in-law) is going to be there! Even if you didn't read the book you are still welcome to come.



Thursday, February 26th -

An "unofficial" ward activity (not sponsored by the ward, but everyone is invited): Roller Skating at Classic Skating in Orem. 7:00 p.m. and the cost is only $1.00 dollar!



Miscellaneous Reminders -

This is the last week to do your Visiting Teaching! Please try to at least call your sisters and make a visit if you can. If you don't know who you visit leave a comment and I'll call you and let you know. Also, remember to report your visiting teaching to your supervisor. Again, if you don't know who your supervisor is just "holla" and I'll let you know!

Sunday's Relief Society Lesson

This Sunday we will be discussing the conference talk, "Come What May and Love It" given by Joseph B. Wirthlin. This is a wonderful talk and if you haven't had the chance to read it we encourage you to do so. That way you can be a part of our discussion and share any experiences you may have.

Just a reminder about this week's Enrichment Club activity. Naomi Wagstaff will be hosting Cooking with Molly. Who's Molly you ask? Why, Molly Mormon, of course! Here are all of the details. We hope to see you there!
